The Challenge
Lake Tahoe's spectacular setting demanded a seamless 30-foot glass wall combining operable doors with fixed windows above—no visual interruption. The six-panel bi-parting configuration needed to disappear when open while maintaining clean profiles when closed, with all mechanical components concealed below grade.
The Solution
In collaboration with Lucent, who specified the Sosoares OS sliding system and ST window integration, we engineered dual-motor automation for the six-panel bi-parting configuration. Panels pocket completely, creating a 30-foot opening. The entire sill system is concealed below finished floor level with only minimal track visible, creating an uninterrupted glass wall that frames Lake Tahoe's extraordinary views.
